HORIZONTAL LADLE PREHEATER

Horizontal ladle preheaters are used for heating purposes, as well as keeping various types of ladles warm. All MAPEKO ladle heaters are individually designed and manufactured.

 

Horizontal ladle preheaters can be designed in various versions:

  • Heaters for one or more heating positions
  • Additional maintenance door in the ladle cover
  • Rail-guided heaters
  • MAPEKO swinging heater

VERTICAL LADLE PREHEATER

Vertical ladle preheaters are used for drying as well as heating various types of ladles. All MAPEKO ladle heaters are individually designed and manufactured.

 

 

Different vertical ladle preheaters can be designed for different requirements:


Vertical Heaters

The ladle heaters are equipped with a MAPEKO burner, whose special flame shape contributes to a high heat transfer from the flame to the lining, and guarantees a hot ladle base (MAPEKO long-flame burner).


Vertical Heaters  "LMB"- Last Minute Burner

Implemented as a "Last Minute Burner", rapid heating and heating temperatures up to 1300°C are achieved.


Vertical Dryers

Soft Drying System FOEHN®

In combination with the MAPEKO Soft Drying System FOEHN® extremely slow heating rates are achieved ( < 10°C/h), for example, the drying of monolithic refractory linings.
